Neem Cake Powder

Neem khali is the residual cake left after the extraction of oil from neem seeds.

1. Description and Benefits: Neem khali acts as a natural fertilizer and a soil conditioner. It is rich in Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium, as well as other micronutrients. It also possesses nematicidal, insecticidal, and anti-fungal properties due to the presence of azadirachtin and other triterpenoids. It helps in controlling soil-borne pests and diseases.
2. Guaranteed Nutrient Content (as per FCO): Neem khali typically contains 2.5-5.0% Nitrogen (N), 0.5-1.0% Phosphorus (P2O5), and 1.0-2.0% Potassium (K2O).

Application and Dosage:

1. Field Crops: Dosage varies widely depending on the crop and soil conditions. For example, 750 kg per hectare for rice, 1000 kg per hectare for wheat, and 2400 kg per hectare for sugarcane.
2. Potted Plants: 50-100 g per pot.
3. Home Gardens: 1-2 tablespoons per plant every 4-6 weeks as a top dressing.
4. Recommended Crops: Suitable for a wide variety of crops, including rice, wheat, sugarcane, cotton, and vegetables.
5. Storage and Handling: Store in a dry place to prevent clumping. Wear gloves and a mask while handling to avoid skin or respiratory irritation.
